FILLING A $4+ BILLION REVENUE GAP FOR A FORTUNE 500 GLOBAL PHARMA FIRM

The client faced a $4+ billion revenue gap in the next six years because of current and future patent expirations.

MattsonJack was asked to help develop a division-wide strategy that would fill this gap and enable the client to remain competitive in gaining future internal investment.

 

MattsonJack worked closely with key stakeholders to create a division-wide strategy that would fill the gap using strategic alliances, co-promotions, acquisitions (product and company), licensing, life cycle management, and internal research and development.

MattsonJack's analyses focused on a combination of customized and specific organizational recommendations.

The client needed insights into the significance of key clinical findings on the dynamics of tumor markets and on the future market prospects of the covered companies.

This would require reviewing and assessing the importance of presented data across five tumor types and 12 technologies.

The client engaged MattsonJack for analysis and expert opinions on key oncology presentations, posters and abstracts from one of the largest annual oncology meetings.

MattsonJack staff reviewed the meeting schedule, identified key clinical findings, and assigned coverage of important topics and sessions to more than 15 MattsonJack meeting attendees.

MattsonJack staff held an internal review to determine the importance and market impact of key data (positive and negative) presented at the conference.

MattsonJack senior staff participated in a conference call with the client's top managers and constituents to present impressions of the meeting and highlighted the advances, winners and losers.
